We graciously ask for donations that do not cost you anything. A tax credit donation is a donation that is made in place of paying taxes to the state of Arizona. You just choose to direct your tax dollars towards scholarships for education instead of sending your money to the AZ department of revenue.
S-corporations and C-corporations have much higher limits in donations and still receive the same of benefit of dollar-for-dollar tax credits.
